Ice Cream Social

The History Committee at the Presbyterian "Church of the 49ers" in Columbia is holding its annual Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social on Saturday, June 2, from 1 to 3 pm. You are invited to enjoy ice cream with favorite toppings, musical entertainment by the Fiddle Gang and Refined Gold Quartet, and participate in a drawing for a hand-made quilt and other fantastic prizes. Recall bygone days viewing memorabilia and old photos of the historic church--in Columbia since 1854--and listening to the antique pump organ. The Ice Cream Social will be held in the social hall at the Church of the 49ers, located at Parrotts Ferry Road and Jackson Street in Columbia.
