Labor Day weekend in Valley Springs just got filled with tons of FREE family fun! For the last 36 years the Valley Springs Pow Wow has attracted thousands of people out to the meadow of a working cattle ranch off Paloma Rd along with over 200 vendors sharing their rocks, gems and minerals, fossils and handmade crafts. Several community churches, rock clubs and school groups use this opportunity to educate folks about the amazing wonders provided by the earth. With tasty homemade pies, snow cones and Indian Fry bread you wont leave hungry! Also our traditional Chili Cookoff, Antique Steam engines, Radio controlled airplanes and classic cars there is certainly something for everyone. As always, admission is FREE and parking is FREE! Come join us this Labor Day weekend, Sept. 2-5, 2011 out at 1290 Paloma Rd, Valley Springs, Ca.
