Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at The Bear Valley Music Festival. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is a contemporary swing band from Southern California. Formed in 1989 by leader Scotty Morris, the band concentrated on the swing of the 1940s and '50s, performing in clubs and lounges in its early years. Over the last few years the group has played on the Pops programs of American symphony orchestras, including the San Francisco Symphony and made several recordings including "Go Daddy-O", "You & Me & the Bottle Makes Three (Tonight)", and "Mr. Pinstripe Suit". Bear Valley is located off California State Highway 4 on the Ebbetts Pass Corridor in Alpine County.
