The Dollhouse Dames are a brand new burlesque troop in Murphys. They will be performing "An evening under the 'covers'" their debut show! The show is a Variety style show with Comedy, Singers, Musicians and Dancers.

Burlesque Style Theater is often linked with strippers and raunch, but burlesque actually refers to satire! We will, of course, have some very sexy ladies in our show, but the age appropriation is any! There is even a six year old break dancer!! The show is going to be unlike anything that you have seen in Murphys! Please join us for the fun!!

This years Theme for the Festival is "Moulin Rouge." with some of Northern California's best Belly dancers. This event is for All Ages and features Live Belly dancing, Great Food and Drinks, Vendors (Costumes, Jewelry, CD's, DVD's and more), Local Wine and Beer, Drum and Belly dance Workshops before the show.

Described as in "impious comedy," the play is about a family of crooks living well off. They are stunned when the son, a superb forger, quits the "family business" and decides to come clean. The son’s sudden change of heart is not kept secret for long. He has met a girl and wants out of the crook business.

The family tries unsuccessfully to win him back to the family business. They soon discover that the son’s fiancé is a first class safe breaker … and things begin to change. The "white sheep" and his fiancé join the family and a series of hilarious events follows.

Here comes the bride! Actually, we should say brides--four of them supposedly, to marry a quartet of love-starved citizens. The husbands-to-be include two bachelors, lumberjack Forrest Green, saloon owner Lucky Betts, grizzled prospector Grubby Shurtz and respectable banker C.D. Nichols. If only their brides were real! The unscrupulous and shifty lawyer, Big Harry Deal, has hired an actress, Starr Billings, to impersonate four fiancés! It will make you think twice before saying "I do"--at least 'til you know who to!
