Kim Silva, 2005 Mother Lode Round-Up Queen
2005 Mother Lode Round-Up Queen

Kim Silva is our Mother Lode Round Up Queen for 2005. A Sonora High School Graduate, Kim attended Columbia College and plans to finish her associate of science degree in the Modesto Junior College dental hygiene program.

Kim will represent the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Posse at this years Mother Lode Round-Up and will keep a busy schedule representing them at other events throughout the coming year. Kim won the horsemanship and appearance categories of the competition to secure her title. Some of the prizes Kim won were a saddle, matching horse breast collar for her saddle, tiara, trophy buckle, and use of a horse trailer for the year. She also received a $2,000 scholarship toward completing her degree. Congratulations Kim! It's going to be a fantastic year!

The 2005 Mother Lode Round-Up Parade was again a huge success. It was a day of brilliant sunshine and warm temperatures. Of the 168 separate entries, these 37 were honored as best-of-class:
