Fire Danger: Highlighted On Mother Lode Views

Sonora, Ca -- Local officials will discuss fire prevention measures on this weekend's Mother Lode Views.

Guests will include CAL Fire Battalion Chief Dennis Townsend, City of Sonora Fire Chief Mike Barrows and Stanislaus National Forest Deputy Public Affairs Officer Pat Kaunert.

The three will discuss the severity of the current fire season, common causes of vegetation and structure fires, and prevention measures that residents need to remember heading into winter.

Mother Lode Views will air on AM-1450 KVML Saturday at 9:30am and Sunday at 8:30am. Mother Lode Views can also be heard Sunday at 9am on STAR 92.7 and an hour later on Today's Country 93.5 KKBN.
