Groveland, Ca -- Late this afternoon, CAL Fire air tankers were called to assist with a vegetation fire northeast of Groveland in the Stanislaus National Forest.
According to the Incident Command Center, the fire is in a remote area off Cherry Lake Rd. No structures are at risk, and it is around a quarter to a half acre in size. Resources from CAL Fire are being released, as firefighters are getting it under control. Written by bjhansen@mlode.com
