Sonora, Ca -- The six day Foothill Farmlands Arts Festival is now underway, as the event kicked off Saturday at Mt. Brow Winery.
The purpose of the six day festival is to showcase area artists and locally produced food and products. “We've been given a perfect day in our beautiful Sierra Foothills,” says Organizer B.Z. Smith. “This is the essence and beauty of living in Tuolumne County.”
On display and for sale at “Golden Hills Traditions: Family Art Day” were local photographs, paintings, pottery, jewelry, metal art, woodcrafts, and everything in between.
Other highlights included crafts for the kids, live music, storytelling and juggling.
On Sunday, there will be a day of free entertainment at the Aspen Meadow Pack Station.
Entertainment will include more live music, poetry, storytelling and activities.
