Sonora Man Injured In Longeway Rd. Accident

Sonora, Ca -- The CHP says that 34-year-old Jason Thomas of Sonora was airlifted to a Modesto hospital with reported head injuries following a motorcycle accident this afternoon on Longeway Rd. near Crystal Falls Dr.

Officer Rick Toma says that the motorcycle was traveling east shortly before one o'clock when it went off the road for unknown reasons. The vehicle collided with a tree and Thomas was ejected. No other vehicles were involved. Alcohol was not a contributing factor.
