Cause Of O'Byrnes Ferry Structure Fire Believed To Be Electrical

Jamestown, Ca -- CAL Fire Investigator Rommie Jones says that a fire that destroyed a home at 6900 O'Byrnes Ferry Rd. this morning initiated in the basement.

Jones says he believes that an electrical fire was started by either the water heater or the air conditioning system. When you factor in the structure and its contents, Jones says that there was an estimated $1 million in damages.

The home was built by a Hollywood producer in the 1970's and has housed celebrities such as Michael J. Fox and Clint Eastwood during the filming of motion pictures.
