Sonora & San Andreas, Ca -- The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors is expected to decide whether to approve the Mountain Springs Community Project this coming Tuesday, as the public hearing is scheduled to resume at 1:30pm.
Also at Tuesday's meeting, the Supervisors will hear a status report from CAO Craig Pedro on the 2008 Board Goals and select the Community Development Block Grant projects for the 2008/09 grant cycle. Meanwhile in Calaveras County, the Supervisors will consider approving a 10 year lease with the Calaveras County Water District for the existing White Pines area to be used as a County of Calaveras playground and recreation area. The park would be managed under a Memorandum of Understanding Agreement with the White Pines Park Committee.
The Board will also hold a closed session meeting in which it is expected to discuss the fate of Community Development Director Stephanie Moreno and a recent Grand Jury Report that was critical of her performance.
