Thief Steals Vehicle And Rams Into Pawn Shop

Sonora, CA -- The Sonora Police Department is on the lookout for a suspect who reportedly stole a Jeep 4x4 from a local car dealership and drove it into the Mother Lode Pawn Shop at 626 S. Washington St.

According to Lt. Mark Stinson, the incident likely occurred sometime around the five o'clock hour this morning.

If you noticed anyone driving a black Jeep around that time, you are encouraged to contact the Police Department at (209) 532-8141.

Officers believe that items were taken from the pawn shop, and they are currently assessing what was stolen.
