Sonora, Ca -- A 212 acre prescribed burn is taking place this week in the Stanislaus National Forest's Summit Ranger District.
The burn is one-mile north of the community of Cow Creek, between Forest Rd. 5N12 and Hwy 108. Smoke may be visible from Hwy 108, with some down canyon drift smoke visible in the evening and early morning. Written by bjhansen@mlode.com
