Murphys' Wiggins Charged With DUI

San Andreas, CA -- 49 year old James Wiggins of Murphys is facing at least $10,000 in fines following his involvement in a single vehicle accident.

Wiggins was westbound on Hwy 4 at Upper Utica Power House Rd. at 4:30 Tuesday afternoon when, due to his intoxication according to the CHP report, he turned his 1986 Ford to the right and off the road edge. The vehicle struck the hillside and overturned on its left side.

Wiggins suffered minor injuries refusing medical treatment at the scene.
