Fire Extinguished - Residential Structure Destroyed

Lake Don Pedeo, CA -- CAL Fire Communications Operator Jim DeVoll reports the fire that destroyed a residential structure at 4156 Abeto St. has been contained.

The 55 year old female who suffered second to third degree burns has been hospitalized. Other household members are staying with neighbors.

P.G.& E. personnel responded to downed power lines. Also on scene the American Red Cross. A number of the responding fire crews have been released from the scene.

That fire started to spread to the wildland but was quickly extinguished.

Cause of the fire still to be determined.
