Angels Camp, CA -- Effective this morning construction work will intermittently close Hwy 4 from Rolleri Bypass Rd. to Six Mile Creek/Six Mile Rd. for the Angels Camp Bypass project.
Crews are clearing boulders from 7am to 3pm through Friday. Motorists can expect up to 10 minute delays.
The contractor for the $61.5 million project is Teichert Construction of Stockton.
The Angels Camp Bypass project will construct a two-lane access controlled expressway on a new alignment from the north junction of Hwy 4 and Hwy 49 to a point of Hwy 4 approximately six-tenths of a mile east of Rolleri Bypass Rd.
