Jamestown, Ca -- Results from a forensic autopsy conducted on the two women who were fatally injured in Tuesday's mobile home fire on Chicken Ranch Rd. has the Sheriff's Office to believe that the deaths were accidental.
“The results of the autopsy show no signs of trauma,” says Lt. Dan Bressler. The Sheriff's Office has yet to officially confirm the identities of the two women. They are reportedly 57-year-old Goldie Kerr and her 83-year-old mother, Nobie Partain.
The Sheriff's Office says the fire was likely the result of a short in the electrical wiring that was running beneath the sofa. The fire could have possibly been smoldering for a long period of time without being detected.
