Garamendi Will Keynote Calaveras Chamber Dinner

Angels Camp, Ca -- California's Lt. Governor John Garamendi will be the keynote speaker at Friday night's Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce Installation Dinner.

Garamendi, who grew up in Calaveras County, previously served two years in the California Assembly and 14 years in the Senate. He has also served as California's Insurance Commissioner and as the Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Dept. of the Interior.

At the event, the Chamber Officers and Board of Directors will be installed. The Chamber will also announce the winner of the Business of the Year award.

Social hour will begin at 5:30pm, and the dinner will start at 6:15pm at Camps at Greenhorn Creek in Angels Camp. Tickets are required. The Chamber Office can be reached at 209-736-2580.
