Riverbank Man Fatally Injured In Hwy 120 Accident

Sonora, Ca -- According to the California Highway Patrol, a 76-year-old Riverbank man was fatally injured in a vehicle accident on Hwy 120 near Knights Ferrry Rd. Sunday.

Manual Castanon was eastbound on Hwy 120 at 12:34pm, and attempted to make an unsafe U-turn. He reportedly caused a three vehicle collision. Castanon was pronounced dead at Oak Valley Hospital.

His wife, 70-year-old Cecelia Castanon, suffered moderate injuries, and was transported to Doctors Medical Center.
