Drivers Traveled Safely In Mother Lode During Holiday Weekend

Sonora, Ca -- According to the California Highway Patrol there were no roadway fatalities in Calaveras County or Tuolumne County during the Christmas Maximum Enforcement Period.

During the MEP, which ran from Friday through Tuesday, the CHP made seven arrests in Tuolumne County and four in Calaveras County for driving under the influence. Extra officers were on the road to patrol for violators.
