Update On Body Found In Jamestown

Sonora, CA -- According to Lt. Dan Bressler of the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Department, a forensic autopsy will be performed Thursday on the body that was discovered in a field Monday on the north side Hwy 108.

The body was discovered at 11:45am in the 18650 block of Hwy 108 east of Sierra Motors. Several hours later Sheriff's detectives removed the badly decomposed body. Gender of the deceased could not be determined.
