Stockton, CA -- P.G.& E. is currently working on a $10 million upgrade of its Spring Gap Hydro Generation Powerhouse in order to ensure high quality, safe and reliable utility services to the Pinecrest, Strawberry and Cold Springs communities.
The company's planned work includes replacement of specific electrical components on the transformer and power line metering equipment both of which are an integral part of distributing electricity to customers. In order to facilitate the necessary maintenance work at the Spring Gap Powerhouse, P.G.& E. will be providing generators to serve the aforementioned communities during the upgrade process. Customers may experience an interruption this coming Saturday from 4pm until 5pm.
