Two Sonora Residents Arrested On Multiple Drug ChargesMonday, July 30, 2007 - 01:00 PM

Sonora, CA-- Saturday the pair of 24 year old Claudia Lee Lavell of the 19700 block of Waif Mine Rd. in Sonora and 44 year old Joyce Bernadette Michael of the same address were arrested on multiple drug charges and released after posting $15,000 bail apiece.
Sheriff's Deputy Rod Hobbs was attempting to serve a warrant at the residence when he noticed a male walking quickly from a shed located on the property. Hobbs detained 45 year old Richard Garris and the two females.
Inside the shed was discovered several baggies containing small quantities of methamphetatmine. In addition deputies found other narcotics, pills and pay/owe sheets with names and dollar amounts.
Garris was taken into custody for violation of parole and was eventually released. Lavell and Michael were charged with possession of meth, possession of meth for sale, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia prior to posting bail.
The individual being served the warrant was not present at the residence.
