Mitchell Will Resign From Calaveras CAO Position In October

San Andreas, Ca -- Calaveras County Administrative Officer Tom Mitchell announced today that he will leave his position on October 12th.

Mitchell was hired by the Board in October of 2002. At the time of his hire, he made a commitment of five years of service. Mitchell says it has been an honor and a privilege to serve the citizens of Calaveras County.

Mitchell notes that there are many important challenges ahead for the County, but says he is confident that the Board and its employees will rise to the challenge.
