Small Arson Fire Strikes Confidence Area

San Andreas, CA -- At 6:56pm Thursday a small ason spot fire was reported on Forest Rd. 2N09 and Mt. Provo Rd. in the Confidence area.

According to CAL FIRE Emergency Command Center Communications Operator Mary Jo Boone, local residents extinguished the fire although aircraft was dispatched from the Columbia Air Base.

Fire crews were released at 8:26pm. There were no injuries or property damage reported.
