South Lake Tahoe, CA -- Winds were mostly calm Wednesday afternoon allowing firefighters to gain ground on the still 31-hundred acre Angora Fire.

Containment now stands at 55 percent. 176 residences and 75 commercial structures have been destroyed.

Cause of the fire remains under investigation, but it has been determined that it was "human caused."
