Closure Of T.G.H. To Highlight Board Of Supervisors' Meeting

Sonora, CA -- Today's Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors' meeting has a full agenda including a number of items dealing with this weekend's closure of Tuolumne General Hospital.

CAO Craig Pedro will present the following considerations to the Board: the approval of a professional services agreement with the Camden Group for managment services during the upcoming fiscal year not to exceed $405,000, approving an agreement for medical director services for the Skilled Nursing Facility at Tuolumne General Medical Facility, approving an agreement for physician coverage for the Acute Psychiatric Unit at Tuolumne General Medical Facility, approving an agreement with Sonora Regional Medical Center for ancillary services for the Tuolumne General Medical Facility and approving the settlement agreement and release for T.G.H.'s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jack McCue in the amount of $84,375.

In addition Human Services Agency Director Ann Connolly will ask the Board to consider approving the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) designating Sonora Regional Medical Center as the local control facility.

Department of Public Works Director Peter Rei will ask the Board to consider approving the final map for the Deer Park subdivision located on Ferrari Rd.

A 2pm appointment will involve discussion and Board direction on various economic development issues and initiatives for the county.
