Sonora, CA -- An early Sunday morning fire caused approximately $350,000 damage to a Crystal Falls residence over the Memorial Day weekend.
CAL FIRE Tuolumne County Fire Department Information Officer Craig Hart reports the residence, located at 22165 Crystal Falls Drive, is owned by Dennis Peterson of Fremont, CA.
Contents worth $50,000 were destroyed along with a $10,000 1996 Honda Accord that was burned to the ground by a power line that became disengaged from the burning structure.
There were no reported injuries to fire personnel or residents.
The investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
