Tuolumne County Supervisors; YES ... Calaveras County Supervisors; NO

Sonora, CA -- The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will be meeting today while the Calaveras Board will be on hiatus this week.

At nine o'clock, the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will host the delayed Public Hearing to consider the development of the impact evaluation of the closure of emergency room services at Tuolumne General Hospital pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1300.

This hearing was originally scheduled for May 15 at 1:30pm but due to a newspaper misprint, the hearing had to be postponed.

In addition to the hearing, County Counsel Gregory J. Oliver will present a resolution to consider approving disbanding and eliminating the Tuolumne General Hospital Board of Trustees effective July 1, 2007, transferring the authority, powers and duties of the Trustees back to the Board of Supervisors and repealing the T.G.H Board of Trustees' bylaws.
