Vandals Strike San Andreas Cemetery

San Andreas, CA -- The caretaker of People's Cemetery in San Andreas is reporting vandals have struck and he suspects, juveniles are to blame.

Caretaker Jim Poe told the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department that approximately 40 headstones were damaged early this week.

The damage is estimated at $10,000. Poe says he suspects local juveniles are responsible for the vandalism.

The case is under investigation.
