Vida Blue Will Speak At Pair Of Scouting Events

Sonora, CA -- Former Cy Young Award winner Vida Blue will make a pair of appearances in the Mother Lode today.

Blue will speak at the 3rd annual Tuolumne County Friends of Scouting Breakfast at 7am at the Best Western Sonora Oaks Conference Center.

Then at noon, he will speak at the Golden Heritage District's Friends of Scouting luncheon at Greenhorn Creek in Angels Camp.

Throughout his pitching career, Blue played with the Oakland A's and the San Francisco Giants. In 1971, he was named American League MVP.

Reservations are required for both the lunch and breakfast.
