Mother Lode Super Bowl Tradition

Sonora, CA -- The 21st annual Frank Salel Super Bowl Breakfast is coming up Sunday at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds.

The event is put on by the Sonora 49er Rotary Club. Member Scott Barry says proceeds will go towards scholarships for high school students and to purchase dictionaries for 3rd graders.

The breakfast will run from 7 to 11:30am. Tickets will be available at the door. The breakfast is named after the late Frank Salel, a long time Rotarian, who first started the event.
