Twain Harte Man Arrested For Assaulting His Mother

Twain Harte, Ca -- An unidentified 20 year old was arrested after allegedly assaulting his mother.

Tuolumne County Sheriff's Deputies were sent to an undisclosed Twain Harte residence yesterday for a reported assault. As they were speaking to the suspect, the mother came out of the residence.

The mother had suffered injuries to her hands, throat and cheeks. The victim told law enforcement that her son became physical with her during an argument over money. She claimed he also threatened her with a knife.

Deputy Spencer Garrett arrested the son for the above charges and booked him into county jail. He remains in custody with a bail of $25,000.
