Funeral Service Set For Joe Burton

Sonora, CA -- A memorial mass has been scheduled for next Tuesday at 1pm at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sonora for 47 year old Joseph Frank Burton.

The Twain Harte resident was killed Friday afternoon at two o'clock in an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) accident on Trout Creek Rd. south of Long Barn.

For the past couple of years Burton served as a member of the Tuolumne County Sheriff Department's Search and Rescue Team. He also owned Mother Lode Applicance Service.

Following the mass a reception will be held at Snowshoe Brewing in Standard.
