Valley Springs, CA -- The C.H.P. says 29-year old James Ecroyd of Jamestown was driving at an unsafe speed when his trailer overturned Tuesday.
Ecroyd was driving a flatbed trailer loaded with a water tender on Highway 26 near Garner Place. The CHP says Ecroyd entered a turn at an unsafe speed causing his load to fall off the trailer and onto a Toyota pickup approaching from the opposite lane. The driver of that pick up, 44-year old Tanya Welsh of San Andreas, was treated and released at Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital for moderate injuries.
