Sonora, CA -- Raymond Christopher Leichter of Jamestown only suffered minor back pain after an accident on Hwy 108 this afternoon.
Headed in a westbound direction at an unknown rate of speed near Wigwam Rd., Leichter's Isuzu LS Trooper crossed over the center line and the eastbound lane eventually landing on its roof down a 60-70 foot embankment near Woods Creek.
According to the C.H.P., Leichter was the lone occupant in the vehicle. Alcohol has already been ruled out as a possible cause of the accident.
Traffic was stalled for a short time being restricted to a single lane until the vehicle had been removed by AAA personnel.
