Columbia, CA-- Columbia College is offering a three- week class beginning November 7th that is sure to put a smile on wine drinker's faces.
The class, Introduction to California Wines will be taught by Tom Bender who will instruct students on the various types and styles of California wines. Organizers say emphasis will be on winemaking techniques, component identification, understanding labels and new trends in wine. Wine recommendations for the holidays are also on the agenda. The class is scheduled to meet November 7th, 13th, and 20th from 6:30 to 9:30pm at the Cellar Restaurant in the Manzanita building at the college campus.
The registration deadline is November 1st and the class fee is $60 per person. To register for the class, interested persons can call 588-5144.
