Tuolumne, CA-- Black Oak Casino Chef's have been busy transforming more than 3,500 pounds of pumpkin into a zoo of hand-carved animals today.
Organizers say Executive Chef Ed Wickman and his cadre of talented Sous chefs used their considerable talents to turn several 400-900 pound pumpkins into a lion, elephant, a frog and a turtle. Officials say that a variety of smaller pumpkins have been carved as well, rounding out the exhibit. The pumpkin carvings will be on display through Halloween Night.
In addition, Black Oak Casino will be hosting two Halloween parties including the Halloween Spooktacular Party in the Willow Creek Lounge, and A Midsummer Night's Scream in the Mill Sports Bar and Grill.
Organizers say it will be a night of fun and excitement including: games, prizes, costumes, live music, and dancing. For more information go to blackoakcasino.com
