Soulsbyvile, CA-- This morning was anything but peaceful for two Methamphetamine users.
Sheriff's Deputy Jeff Gempler stopped 37-year-old Christopher Johnson and his passenger 33-year-old Wendy Fields for not having a front license plate and an expired registration. Johnson was also driving on a suspended license. Deputy Gempler then began to search the vehicle and found a small amount of methamphetamine. Both Johnson and Fields were arrested and taken to the county jail.
Sheriff's officials say during a visual search of Fields, custody personnel, suspected Fields of being in possession of additional contraband. Fields had in her possession, a marijuana pipe and a bag containing a small amount of suspected methamphetamine. Both Johnson and Fields were booked for their charges.
