Oakdale Man Faces Several Drug ChargesTuesday, September 26, 2006 - 05:35 PM

Sonora, CA-- Robert Muniain of Oakdale is in jail after Tuolumne Sheriff's Corp. Tim Wertz found a hypodermic needle and syringe filled with methamphetamine in the seat of Muniain's vehicle Monday morning.
Sheriff's officials say Corp. Wertz pulled Munian over for driving over the center line on Highway 108 near Stone Corral. He then searched the vehicle and found an envelope containing the needle and syringe. Muniain admitted the substance in the syringe was methamphetamine. Muniain was booked for transportation and possession of methamphetamine and possession of a hypodermic needle and syringe.
