Sonora, CA -- Kathy Hardy will be the new Deputy Forest Supervisor of the Stanislaus National Forest in Sonora.
Tom Quinn, Stanislaus National Forest supervisor says Hardy's experience includes positions in archaeology, wilderness coordination, recreation, lands and minerals, District Ranger on two National Forests and acting Deputy Forest Supervisor on two other National Forests. Hardy says she is very excited about her new job on the Stanislaus National Forest. She is looking forward to working with members of the public who are willing to become involved.
Hardy will report to the Stanislaus National Forest on October 15th, filling a vacancy created when former Deputy Forest Supervisor, Jerry Perez, left to assume the Forest Supervisor position on the Daniel Boone National Forest in Kentucky last April.
