Tuolumne City, CA -- One Modesto resident has been jailed following a stolen purse incident at the Black Oak Casino Sunday evening.
On his way to the casino to investigate the incident, a Tuolumne County sheriff's deputy stopped 39 year old Sharri Denise Limburg who was walking on N. Tuolumne Rd. She matched the description of the individual involved in the theft. Once that arrest was made, casino security officers were able to identify a vehicle in the parking lot where Limburg may have placed the purse. That vehicle, a 1980 Honda Accord, belonged to Cheryl Alameda. In addition to the stolen purse hidden on the floorboard, deputies discovered meth smoking pipes and other drug paraphernalia.
Limberg was arrested on a number of charges while Alameda was released on her promise to appear in court.
