Monday, August 28, 2006 - 03:30 PM
Supervisor Steve Wilensky reads a resolution honoring the work of Silas Parker (right).

San Andreas, CA -- Several members of the Calaveras County community were honored by the Board of Supervisors Monday for significant contributions in their neighborhoods.

Tim Laddish of Sheep Ranch set a record for the amount of tires removed in his town – more than 1,300 tires.

Pat McGreevy was honored for the work he's done cleaning up the Glencoe and Rail Road Flat area.

Silas Parker also received thanks for his efforts in organizing tribal members in the West Point Miwuk community for a massive clean up.

And Diane Kriletich got a nod for her clean up efforts in the community of Paloma, which helped improve the local watershed.
