Search For Missing Man in Clarks Fork Continues

Tuolumne, CA-- The search continues for a missing man who was last seen in the falls area of Clarks Fork River.

The Tuolumne County Sheriff's Department says the 25-year-old male from Tuolumne City was last seen yesterday afternoon as he slipped and fell into the river just below the falls. He has not been seen since.

Lieutenant Dan Bressler of the Sheriff's Department says Search and Rescue called off the search yesterday at 7pm after dropping searchers down into the falls area by rope to look for the subject.

A search helicopter also flew over the area. Crews searched accessible banks of the river on foot. Swift water search and rescue personnel have been searching since early this morning in the Wagner area of Tuolumne County.
