Mother Lode Farmers/Ranchers Eligible For Loans

Sonora, CA -- Farmers and ranchers in 29 California counties are eligible for emergency loans as a result of a federal disaster declaration.

Another 21 counties are eligible as they are adjacent to the primary counties.

Those farmers who had damage from heavy rains and flooding in Winter 2005 and Spring 2006 are now able to apply for loans for Weather-related losses between December 17th 2005 and April 26th 2006 are included in the eligibility declaration.
