Broken Pipe Closes Offices Due To Flooding

Sonora, CA -- Clean-up will be the only work employees of the Mother Lode Job Connection and the Mountain Women's Recourse Center will be doing the rest of the week after walking into flooded offices this morning.

Bob Martin with Mother Lode Job Training says a bathroom pipe broke overnight flooding the second floor of the building. As for the ground level, Martin says tiles have been falling from the ceiling of Mountain Women's Resource Center.

The offices will be closed the rest of the week; however Mountain Women's Resource Center says their shelters are still open.
