Columbia, CA -- Starting Thursday visitors to Columbia State Park will get a Gold Rush era feeling as they transform the area back into its original state, when tent and shanty towns sprung up overnight.
Organizers say Tent Town 1852 is a great opportunity for visitors to wander through the early stages of Gold Rush towns, enjoy entertainment at the theater, step into the Saloon, or browse in the authentically recreated Browns Mercantile. The event takes place from Thursday through Sunday from 10am-5pm.
