Highway 108 Fire Safe Meeting Thursday

Sonora, CA -- As fire season quickly approaches, homeowners in Confidence, Sugar Pine, Mi-Wuk Village, Sierra Village, Long Barn, and Cold Springs are invited to meet and discuss fire safety.

The meeting will focus on fire protection, emergency preparedness, and fire prevention measures needed to protect life, property, and resources from wild land fires.

The open public meeting is scheduled for 6:00pm Thursday at the Mi-Wuk/Sugar Pine Volunteer Fire Department meeting room.

Fire Safe Council President Jerry Tannhauser says all Tuolumne County residents are invited to the meetings, not just those who live in the above mentioned areas.
