Sonora, CA-- Columbia College is putting on a Financial Aid Awareness Faire where members of the financial aid staff will be on hand to show students that they can afford to go to college.
The event takes place Tuesday, May 30th from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the college's lakeside patio. They will be presenting various financial aid programs that are available to community college students. The event is free to the public and a free barbecue lunch with hot dogs and refreshments will be provided for participants. Game competitions will also take place with six $200 prizes consisting of vouchers for textbooks and other supplies, redeemable at the college's Manzanita bookstore.
