59th Army Band To Perform In San Andreas

San Andreas, CA -- The 59th Army Band “The Government's Own” is scheduled to perform a free concert at Turner Park in San Andreas in honor of Memorial Day.

The concert will start at 6:00pm and is being presented by the VFM Post 2600.

The 45 piece band is comprised of members who come from all over the state to perform their military duty as soldiers in the California National Guard.

The concert will feature traditional military band music as well as some swing tunes and more contemporary selections.

Students from Calaveras High School will also perform with the band during the show.
